Watchman killed in Bhola truck-motorcycle collision

A watchman was killed when his motorcycle collided with a truck in Lalmohan Upazila in Bhola early Sunday.

The accident occurred at around 3 am on Rasulbagh Road in Lalmohan Municipality on the Bhola-Charfesson Regional Highway.
The dead Jasim Uddin, 48,  was a resident of Peshkar Hawla area under Lalmohan Union of the upazila. He was a night watchman at Lalmohan Bazar.

Locals said Jasim was going to Lalmohan Bazar from home riding on his motorcycle at night. At that time, his motorcycle collided with a truck standing at the head of Rasulbagh Road in the town. Jasim was seriously injured.

Other night guards of the market came and rescued him from the spot and took to Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty there examined Jasim's physical condition and declared him dead.

Lalmohan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sirajul Islam confirmed it.
