Hasnat welcomes reduction in BCS application fee

Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Convener Hasnat Abdullah welcomed the decision to reduce the marks for the BCS oral exam and the application fee on Monday. 

In post shared on his verified Facebook account, Hasnat said, "The BCS oral exam marks have been reduced from 200 to 100, and the application fee has been reduced from Tk 700 to Tk 350. I welcome this student-friendly decision."

Earlier, the Public Service Commission (PSC) proposed to halve the marks for the BCS oral exam and reduce the application fee to Tk 350. The proposal was sent to the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday.
