3-day DCs meet kicks off  Feb 16

Three-day annual conference of Deputy Commissioners(DC), the first since the  interim government took responsibility begins of February 16. The DCs will get briefing about the  interim government's policy and instructions, said officials.

With the consent of the Chief Adviser, the Cabinet Division started taking the  preparation.  The DCs across the country have already been asked to send their proposals to be placed in the conference, according to the Cabinet Division sources.

Cabinet Division Joint Secretary (District and Field Administration) Mohammad Khorshed Alam told reporters that the working session will be held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital. The DCs will present important issues in the conference, said officials.
