KDS Accessories approves 10pc dividend at 33rd AGM

KDS Accessories Ltd approved 10 per cent (5 per cent cash and 5 per cent stock) dividend for the year 2023-2024 for the shareholders who hold shares on the record date as on 14 November 2024.

The dividend was approved at the 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company held on Thursday through Virtual Platform with the company's Chairman Khalilur Rahman in the chair.

Among others Managing Director Salim Rahman, other members of the Board Ms. Tahsina Rahman, Representative Director Kamrul Hasan Siddiqui FCA, Independent Director Professor Sarwar Jahan, Auditor's Representative and KDS Accessories's CEO Debasis Daspal, CFO, Biplob Kanti Banik FCA, Company Secretary Mohammad Ilias and Independent Scrutinizer were also present in the meeting. A large number of shareholders joined the AGM virtually. 

The Chairman of the meeting expressed his gratitude to the stakeholders for their contribution towards the 33rd Anniversary of their company and thanked the shareholders for their trust on the company and briefly talked about growth potential of the company, international competition, KDS Accessories' ambition to become strong backward linkage industry etc.

The other activities of the AGM were adoption of the Audited Financial Statements of the year 2023-2024, Re-appointment of Independent Director, Re-election of theDirectors and appointment of Auditors.

At the end, CEO- Debasis Daspal expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their contributions and highlighted the company's future plans to strengthen its competitive edge and become a key player in the backward linkage industry.
