Fast bowler Nahid Rana was included in the Bangladesh squad for the three-match T20 international series against the West Indies.
The Bangladesh team is now in St Vincent where the matches are scheduled on December 16, 18 and 20.
The 22-year-old Rana has already appeared in six Tests and three ODIs for Bangladesh but is yet to debut in T20 internationals.
He made an impressive debut both in Test and ODI format, bowling with nagging line and length without compromising his pace.
His raw pace was key in ripping through West Indies in the second Test, which Bangladesh won to secure their first Test victory on Caribbean Islan since 2009.
Also that victory helped Bangladesh draw the two-match Test series 1-1.
He was then handed debut in ODI too in West Indies and fare better than others as Bangladesh were whitewashed in the series.
His inclusion in the T20 squad gave the hints that Bangladesh are keen to exploit four pacy overs from him in every match of the series.
