Naim, Anisul power Metro to 4th straight victory

Dhaka Metro continued its winning streak by securing a 19-run victory over Dhaka Division in their fourth match of the NCL T20 at the Sylhet Academy Ground on Sunday.

Skipper Naim Sheikh was instrumental in the victory yet again as he struck 69 off 54 with eight fours and one six to steer the side to a challenging 190-7.

Shamsur Rahman Shuvo complemented Naim's knock with 22 ball-43, a knock designed with four fours and two sixes.
Medium pacer Anisul Islam then took the onus to defend the total as Rangpur got a rapid start through Rony Talukdar and Ariful Islam. Anisul ended with 4-38 to help Metro hold Dhaka back to 171-8.

Ariful was the top-scorer with 42 and Rony Talukdar made 39. While it was Metro's fourth successive victory, Dhaka, so far, won just one match.    —BSS
