Youth electrocuted in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Dec 15: A young man was electrocuted in Gopalganj Municipality on Sunday.

The incident took place in Miapara area under the municipality in the morning. 

The deceased was identified as Rahmat Sheikh, 30, a resident of the aforesaid area.
It was known that Rahmat came in contact with live electricity while trying to connect a charger with his mobile phone at home, which left him critically injured.

Sensing the matter, the family members rescued him and took to Gopalganj General Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared the youth dead.
