BNP stages motorcycle showdown in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Dec 15: A fraction of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Sunday morning organized a motorcycle showdown parading different roads in the district town to show their existence.  

At 11am district BNP's former president Sirajul Islam Siraj led this showdown.

After parading different roads in the town, the motor rally ended at Gatepara.
Sirajul Islam Siraj said, during the past government, they could not do any political activity; now the time has come to do politics; he wants to reflect hopes and aspirations of people; he wants to do works for people.

"We could not hold any programme because of Awami League and administrative pressure," he added.
