The Bangladesh Embassy in Athens proudly organized an art competition for the children of Bangladeshi expatriates in Athens to commemorate Bangladesh's glorious Victory Day on Sunday.
The event, held at the chancery premises, saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 children aged between 4 and 16.
The competition was graced by Professor Dr. Erato Hadjisavva, the Rector of the Athens Academy of Fine Arts, as the guest of honor and judge. She was deeply moved by the creativity and imagination of the young artists, who beautifully depicted themes related to Bangladesh. Professor Erato expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Ambassador for inviting her to this joyous celebration, noting the importance of such events in fostering cultural connections and artistic expression.
Throughout December, all the artwork from the competition will be displayed in the Embassy Auditorium, allowing the community to appreciate the talent and creativity of the young artists. The event culminated in a prize-giving ceremony where winners were awarded certificates, and all participants received gifts as a token of appreciation for their effort and creativity.
