KHULNA, Dec 15: High officials of Railway South Zone starts probe today afternoon over a scroll message screened on the digital billboard at Khulna Railway Station yesterday evening.
The officials reached at the Station around 1.00pm by Sagardari Express. They also immediately refused to say anything over the issue.
Earlier, On Saturday evening, tension has been prevailing at the Khulna Railway Station after a scroll displayed on the open digital billboard.
The message read: "Chhatra League will return again in a terrifying form, Joy Bangla Joy Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina will come again."
The incident caused unrest among people including local students, who gathered at the station to protest.
Leaders and activists from Khulna Metropolitan BNP and the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement arrived at the scene to manage the situation.
Following the uproar, a suspect, identified as Md Aslam Hossain Sentu, was detained by locals and handed over to the police.
