Panchagarh temperature records 8.8 degrees Celsius

The temperature recorded in Panchagarh at 9 am on Wednesday (December 18) was 8.8 degrees Celsius. 

Earlier, at 6 am, the temperature was recorded at 9.2 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday (December 17), the lowest temperature recorded in the entire country was 9.1 degrees Celsius.
The people of Panchagarh, a northern Himalayan district, are suffering from the continuous cold wave. They are shivering from evening to morning in the intense cold. The poor people of the cold region are suffering due to the lack of adequate winter clothes. The poor people are trying to escape the cold by burning straw.

Jitendranath Roy, officer-in-charge of Panchagarh Tentulia First Class Meteorological Observation Station, said that the temperature has decreased compared to the previous day at 9 am today. The temperature recorded on Wednesday (December 18) morning was 8.8 degrees Celsius.
