Hotel manager 'stabbed dead' in Bogura

A residential hotel manager was allegedly stabbed to death by miscreants in Bogura on Tuesday night.

The victim has been identified as Bipul Mia, 42, the manager of 'Sunshine Residential Hotel' in Matidali area of Bogura suburb, hailed from Shalmara Mirapara village under Gobindaganj upazila in Gaibandha.
He died while undergoing treatment at Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital around 9:30 pm.

Police said Bipul was stabbed during an argument with some youths at the hotel gate around 1:30 pm. He was first admitted to TMSS Medical College Hospital. From there, he was transferred to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. Bipul died at 9:30 pm while undergoing treatment there.

Bogura Fulbari Police Outpost in-charge Police Inspector Almas Ali confirmed the information.
