Bangladesh Women's Under-19 team is set to face a stern test as they take on the formidable India Women's Under-19 side in a crucial Super-4 match of the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi today. Both teams are entering the game on the back of impressive performances making this a highly anticipated encounter.

The match is scheduled to start at 7:30 am (BST).

The Young Tigresses, led by the dynamic Sumaiya Akter, are brimming with confidence after securing a thrilling 28-run victory over Sri Lanka in their opening match, followed by a commanding 120-run win over Malaysia, which earned them the Group B championship. Batters like Sadia Akter, Jannatul Maoua and Mosammat Eva have been in stellar form anchoring the team's innings. On the bowling front, a disciplined attack led by Nishita Akter Nishi and Habiba Islam has shown the ability to defend even modest totals. All-rounders such as Fahomida Choya, Afia Ashima and Sumaiya Akter provide additional depth and balance to the squad.

India, the Group A champions, started their campaign with a dominating nine-wicket win against Pakistan and shared points with Nepal in a rain-affected match to reach the Super-4 stage. The Indian side boasts a formidable lineup including in-form players like G Kamalini, Sanika Chalke, captain Niki Prasad, Bhavika Ahire, Mithila Vinod, VJ Joshitha, Sonam Yadav, Parunika Sisodia, Aayushi Shukla and Shabnam Shakil. With their collective strength, India are confident of giving a strong performance against their arch-rivals today.

The Sheikh Zayed Stadium is expected to offer spin-friendly conditions potentially resulting in a low-scoring affair where bowlers could dominate proceedings. Weather forecasts indicate chances of rain and heavy wind during the match, which might influence strategies. The team winning the toss is likely to bat first to post a challenging total for the opposition to chase.
