'Wife-Husband Fair' on in Lalmonirhat 

LALMONIRHAT, Dec 18: To mark the Victory Day,  a 15-day 'Wife-Husband Fair' has been arranged on the Borobari Abul Kasem Degree College premises in the upazila on December 16.  

The fair was opened by BNP's Rangpur Divisional Organising Secretary Asadul Habib Dulu, which will continue till December 31. 
Fish stall, pie stall and other stalls have been set up at the fair.  
Convenor of the fair organising committee Faruq Siddiqi said, the importance of the fair is that in the morning sons-in-law of this area come to the fair with their  wives;  after purchasing big fishes, they will go to the houses of their fathers-in-law; mothers-in-law will cook these at noon; and both parents-in-law and other relatives will have lunch together; and in the afternoon, they will go to the pie fair together.  

At night, different village dramas and cultural functions will be held.
