Tk 1cr mobile sets seized at Bijoynagar

BIJOYNAGAR, BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 18: Sarail Battalion (25 BGB) in Bijoynagar Upazila of the district under Cumilla Sector seized Indian mobile phone sets worth over Tk 1 crore on Tuesday. 

 According to a press release, on tip-off at 2am, a BGB special patrol team conducted a drive in Kalishima area at Chandura Union in the upazila. But sensing their presence, smugglers escaped, leaving away 2,130 pieces of mobile phone displays.

The displays included Top One Golden Crown, Top One Combo, and BKC Comb. Their current price is Tk 1,00,20,000.
