Prof Rezaul made DSHE DG

Prof ABM Rezaul Karim, Director of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), has been appointed as the Director General (current charge) of the DSHE, the regulatory authority of the education sector.

The Government College Wing of the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Education Ministry on Wednesday issued a notification in this regard. Deputy Secretary Rebeka Sultana signed the notification.

Earlier, he was serving at the position with additional charge after removal of the regular Director General Prof Nehal Ahmed during the changeover of power.
Nehal Ahmed was then serving at the position on contract.

According to the notification, Prof Rezaul Karim will service as Director General (current charge). It would not be considered as a promotion. He will be released from the charge when a regular director general would be assigned.
