Youth shot dead in Khulna

A young man was allegedly shot to death by miscreants in Khulna on Wednesday night. 

The dead was Md Sohel, 32, son of Khalek Kargi, a resident of Amulia Rajapur in the district.
The incident took place on Haji Muhasin Road in the city on Wednesday (December 18) night.

Police and locals said that around 8:30 pm on Wednesday, miscreants shot Sohel. Local people took Sohel to Khulna City Medical College Hospital with bullet wounds where the on-duty doctor 
declared him dead.

Khulna Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (South) Sheikh Moniruzzaman Mithu said investigation is underway in this regard.
