Youth stabbed dead in city's Sayedabad

A young man was stabbed to death on the slope of the Mayor Hanif Flyover in the capital's Sayedabad on Wednesday.

The victim was identified as Kamrul Hasan, 23, son of Imam Hossain of Kesharpara village under Senbagh upazila of Noakhali. He lived with his family next to Rayerbagh Kadamtali Police Station.

He used to sell clothes on the sidewalk in Mugda Maniknagar area.
The incident took place around 9:30 pm on Wednesday. 

Police confirmed this information on Thursday (December 19) morning.                     

Jatrabari Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Atiqul Islam said that the murder took place at around 9:30 pm on the slope of the Sayedabad flyover. Initially, it seemed that he was stabbed to death by snatchers. A case is under process in this incident. The body has been sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
