Dengue claims one more life, 236 hospitalised

Dengue has claimed one more life in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning.

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in a daily update mentioned that 236 new patients were hospitalized across the country.

With the latest data, a total of 99,805 patients were hospitalised, while 557 deaths from dengue disease were reported since January 1.

Last year, the country recorded a massive number of fatalities, with 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 cases.
