Fire breaks out at Rupganj factory  

RUPGANJ, NARAYANGANJ, Dec 19: Fire broke out in a cotton factory in Rupganj Upazila of the district on Thursday.

The incident took place at DA Textile factory in Bhayela area under Bhulta Union of the upazila at around 7 am. 

It was known that the fire originated at a machine in the factory all of a sudden, and it soon engulfed the whole factory. 
On information, two units of Kanchpur Fire Service rushed to the scene and controlled the blaze after about an hour of frantic effort. 
   
Kanchan Fire Service Station Warehouse Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman confirmed the incident.
