Rains likely in parts of country over next 3 days

Parts of Bangladesh may experience moderate to heavy rains over three days from Friday due to a well-marked low over the South Bay of Bengal and adjoining area, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

"Moderate to heavy rains are likely in places in Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Barishal, Khulna and Mymenisngh divisions during the 72 hours from 6am on December 20," said a BMD. —UNB
