Ferry service resumes on Shariatpur-Chandpur route

Ferry services have resumed on the Shariatpur-Chandpur route after about two and a half hours as the dense fog has cleared.

The BIWTC Ghat authorities restored ferry services to normal from 7:20 am on Friday (December 20).

Earlier, the ferry services on this route were suspended from 5 am.

BIWTC Narsinghpur Ferry Terminal Deputy Manager Iqbal Hossain said that heavy fog appeared since Thursday night. Ferry services on the route were suspended from 5 am to avoid accidents in the fog.
