Law enforcement agencies have ramped up surveillance at the concert's entry points, leading to significant slowdowns on roads in and out of Dhaka.
The charity concert is being held in support of the families of martyrs and injured individuals from the July-August student movement. Airport, Kuril and Banani ramps of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway were be toll-free during the designated hours. From 2:00pm to 11:00pm, users of Airport, Kuril and Banani ramps were advised to use the expressway without paying toll.

Vehicles heading from Uttara-Airport towards Gulshan-Banani-Mohakhali were asked to use the expressway by taking a U-turn before Radisson Hotel or the U-loop beneath Banani Overpass.

Vehicles from Gulshan-Banani-Mohakhali could use the expressway through the Airport and Kuril ramps.
