Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field first inviting India to bat first. The Tigresses restricted India to 117 for seven in 20 overs. The backbone of India's innings was a composed half-century by Gongadi Trisha, who anchored the innings with a 47-ball 52 laced with five exquisite boundaries and two over boundaries. Despite regular setbacks at the other end, Trisha's mature knock ensured India posted a competitive total.

Nishita Akter Nishi picked up two wickets, while Habiba Islam Pinky contributed with one showcasing disciplined and tactical bowling to keep India in check.

In response, Bangladesh's chase faltered early losing opener Mosammat Eva for a duck and Sumaiya Akter for just eight. While Juairiya Ferdous (22) and Fahomida Choya (18) showed some resistance, the rest of the lineup crumbled under pressure managing only 76 runs before being bowled out in the 3rd delivery of the 19th over.
