Salam Khan takes office as Islamic Foundation DG

District and Session Judge of the Khulna Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Abdus Salam Khan has taken the charge of the Director General of the Islamic Foundation on Sunday.

He took the charge from its outgoing Director General Md. Saiful Islam, also an additional secretary of the Religious Affairs Ministry, who was on additional charge.

Earlier on December 18, the Public Administration Ministry issued a notification appointing Salam Khan as the new DG of the Islamic Foundation, the regulatory authority of the country Islamic activities.
