Pedestrain killed in Bhola road accident

A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a motorcycle when he was crossing a road at Lalmohan upazila in Bhola district on Sunday evening. 

The accident took place in Dawri Bazar area on the Bhola-Char Fasson regional highway in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Md Kamal Hossain, 45, a resident of Kalma union in the upazila. 

It was learnt that a Lalmohan-bound motorcycle hit Kamal while he was crossing the road in the evening, leaving him critically injured. 

He was then rescued and taken to Upazila Health Complex, from where he was later referred to Bhola Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

Md Sirazul Islam, officer-in-charge of Lalmohan Police Station, confirmed the matter.
