3 youths killed in motorcycle accident in Cumilla

Three youths were killed after their motorcycle hit hard an electric pole in Cumilla's Sadar upazila early Monday.

The accident happened at about 1AM at Palpara area of the upazila.

The deceased were Md Ahad, 14, son of Kawsar Khalil of the upazila; Imon, 15, son of Jakir Hossain of Burichang upazila; and Imon Hossain Hossain, 16, son of Monir Hossain of Sadar upazila.

Kotwali Model Police Station OC Mohinul Islam said Ahad went out of the house with Imon and Monir at an early hours. His maternal uncle's wedding was going on in their house. Around 1AM, Ahad suddenly lost control and his bike hit hard an electric pole. The trio died on the spot.

The bodies were handed over to the families.
