Two children drown in Lakshmipur

Two children drowned in separate places in Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila on Monday. 

The dead were Hafsa Akter, 8, daughter of Hossain Ahmed under Dakshin Hamchadi union, and Md Sohag, 2, son of Sumon of Andhar Manik village under Tewariganj union.
It was learnt that two children were brought to the District Sadar Hospital in a life-threatening condition from Dakshin Hamchadi union and Tewariganj union in the morning. The on-duty doctor declared both the children dead. Both of them drowned.

Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital doctor Adur Salam Sourav said, "We found both children dead. The family members took their bodies home."
