The sixth 'Sustainable Technologies for Industry (STI) 5.0' International Conference was recently held at Green University at Rupganj Upazila in Narayanganj district.
Scientists, researchers, engineers and teachers from 32 countries of the world participated at the conference. Along with other institutions of the country, the renowned IT company rank safari sponsored the conference. The company's founder and CEO Imran Hossain participated at the conference.
A team comprising Imran Hossain, Zubair Uddin Rakib and Sohan Hossain presented their research paper “Design of a Compact Head Implantable Antenna for Implanted Biomedical Devices” at the conference. The team was led by Dr. Mohammad Nazmus Shakib, Associate Chairperson of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Green University.
The paper presented a remarkable technology for detecting physical conditions using antennas that can be implanted in the human brain, which is a new addition to medical science. Initially, success has been achieved in its chip design.
