Death of fellow: Nursing college students block Dhaka-Aricha highway

CRP Nursing College students blocked Dhaka-Aricha highway protesting the death of one their fellow in a bus accident in Savar on Saturday.

Huge traffic congestion has created on both sides of the highway since 11:15AM after the protesters took position on the highway.

They demanded arrest of the killer bus driver and his helper and exemplary punishment of them.

On Saturday, a running bus belonging to 'Thikana Paribahan' ran over Pratoy Sarker, 30, first year student of Diploma in nursing Science and Midwifery of the college, leaving him dead on the spot.

Savar Model Police Station OC Jewel Miah said police are on the spot to control the situation.
