Fertiliser shop fined at Madhupur

 
MADHUPUR, TANGAIL, Dec 23: A mobile court fined a fertiliser-seed-pesticide selling shop in Pirojpur Bazar at Kuragachha Union in Madhupur Upazila of the district on Sunday.

The shop owner was fined Tk 3,000 as per the Agricultural Marketing Act, 2018 for failing to display the licence and for not properly preserving the sales receipt.
The mobile court was conducted by Madhupur Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Rifat Anjum Piya from afternoon to evening.

Agricultural Extension Officer Tajmi Noor Ratri provided the prosecution, and Madhupur Police Station provided overall cooperation.
