Case filed over murders on vessel in Chandpur

A case was filed on Tuesday night over the brutal murders of crew members inside a vessel, which was anchored on the Meghna River in Chandpur.

Md Mahbub Morshed, a resident of Dhaka's Doha, lodged the case with Haimchar Police Station on behalf of the vessel owners. Bringign the allegation of robbery and murders, eight to ten unknown people has been made accused.

The police station OC Mohiuddin Sumon confirmed the case filing at about 9:30AM on Wednesday morning.

"Legal actions are under process," he added.

The bodies was handed over the families on Tuesday afternoon.
