Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Wdnesday forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country for the next 24 hours begins from 9am Wdnesday.

"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," according to a Met Office release.
Ridge of sub-continental high extends upto Bihar and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough up to North Bay, reports BSS.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till morning, the release said.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall slightly over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 30.0 degree Celsius at Sitakunda and Ambagan and minimum temperature today was recorded at 09.3 degree Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets Wdnesday at 5-19pm and rises Thursday at 6-39am in the capital Dhaka.
