Youth dies from electrocution in Noakhali

A young man died from electrocution in Noakhali's Subarnachar upazila on Wednesday.

The accident took place at around 11:30 am at the house of one Yusuf Ali of Ward No. 1 under Char Clark Union in the upazila.
The deceased Zahed, 35, son of Hanif Mia, was a resident of the that area.

Police and locals said that Zahed came in connection with an electric wire while trying to remove the electric wire from a motor to water his land around 11:30 am. He died on the spot.

Char Jabbar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahin Mia confirmed the matter and said that the body has been handed over to the family as there were no complaints.
