NATORE, Dec 25: With a view to improving the condition of agriculture, 50 male and female farmers were given a day-long training on improving condition of agriculture in Naldanga Upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The training was held in the upazila hallroom; it was organized by the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) under 'Agriculture and Rural Transformation for Nutrition Entrepreneurship and Regiliation (PATNER) project in Bangladesh.
Agriculturist Md Mahamudul Farooq, additional director of DAE-Rajshahi Region, Md Abdul Latif, senior monitoring officer of PATNER project-Rajshahi region, Abdul Wadud, deputy director of DAE-Natore, Kalyan Proshad Paul, additional deputy director of DAE-Natore, and Agriculturist Md Kishwar Hossain, upazila agriculture officer, spoke, among others.
Trainers discussed safe production and quality agriculture crops for human body, marketing and branding.
Later on, certificates were distributed among the trainees.
