Standard Chartered Bank (StanChart), in collaboration with SME Foundation, organised a three-day long training program on "Online Business Management and Financial Inclusion" for Women Entrepreneurs of Bogura.

A total of 36 Women Entrepreneurs participated in the training. Participants included entrepreneurs engaged in a variety of ventures including home-made food, handicraft products manufacturing, boutique shops and others, says a press release.

StanChart has been working with the SME Foundation to drive financial literacy and tech-based entrepreneurship training opportunities across Bangladesh.

The entrepreneurship pathway lifts participation by helping individuals to develop broader business skills, build financial knowledge, and access an array of financial resources and networks. The Bank is committed to creating a flourishing and productive ecosystem for the nation's women entrepreneurs.

SME Foundation has been established by the Bangladesh government and is working as an apex institution for the development of small and medium industries in the country under the Ministry of Industry.
