Met office forecasts dry weather over country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Thursday forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country for the next 24 hours beginning this morning.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies over the country", said the forecast begins from 9am Thursday.
The ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low-lies over the South Bay,extending it through into the North Bay, reports BSS.

Light to moderate fog may occur in places over the country from midnight till morning.

Night temperature may fall slightly over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 29.4 degree Celsius at Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was recorded at 09.5 degree Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets Thursday at 05:20 PM and rises Friday at 06:40 AM in the capital.
