A three-wheeler driver was allegedly strangled to death by miscreants at Santhia upazila in Pabna district on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Babu Hasan, 38, son of Shahid Ali, a resident of Darhazani village in the upazila.
The deceased's family members said that at around 11:00PM on Wednesday, a man named Abdula Wahab Fakir called Babu to his house, but he did not return that night.
On Thursday morning, locals spotted his body in an onion field at Dhulauri union in the upazila.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Santhia Police Station.
