Body of housewife found in city

Police recovered the body of a housewife from a flat at Sabujbag in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon. The deceade's husband went into missing since the incident.

The body was recovered from Wahab Colony in the area. 
The deceased was identified as Sima Aktar, 22, hailed from Cumilla. The couple had lived there in a rented flat. 

Police said that she was strangled to death some days ago. The husband locked the flat from outside and fled. 

On Thursday, locals reported a smell from the flat at around 3:00pm and informed police. 

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for an autopsy, said one of the police official from Sabujbag Police Station.
