Couple held with heroin in Rangpur

They were arrested from Satmatha More area in the city. 
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in the area and arrested the duo along with the drugs, RAB-13 informed this through a press release on Thursday afternoon. 

The arrested couple are Md Jahangir Alam ,36, and his wife Sabina Begum, 32, hailed from Chapainawabganj.

They were later handed over to Mahiganj Police Station after a case was filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act, the release added.
