Two unidentified individuals, including a woman, were killed in a road accident in Dhaka's Jatrabari area on Friday afternoon.
The accident took place at around 2:00 PM in front of Jatrabari Kutubkhali Kutubkhali High School.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, but they were around 60 and 70 years old, respectively.
It was learnt that an unknown vehicle ran them over while they were crossing the road in the area, leaving them critically injured. Pedestrians rescued them and took them to Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital, where the woman died at first. Tthe man was then taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 4:00PM.
