Listed criminal ‘speaker Sohel' held in city

Police arrested a listed criminal Md Sohel Rana alias “speaker Sohel” with weapons in Dhaka's Kalabagan area on Friday morning.

He is accused of 16 different cases with various police stations. 
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the police from Kalabagan Police Station conducted a raid in the area and arrested him in front of a house on Crescent Road at around 06:00 am.

The information was provided through a press release by DMP on Saturday.

At that time, police seized a switch gear knife, cutting pliers (plus), and a mobile phone from his possession.
