One dengue patient died while 104 persons were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the new patients, 19 were hospitalised in Dhaka north city, 23 in Dhaka south city, 34 in Dhaka division (outside of the city corporations), 13 in Barishal division, seven in Chattogram division, three in Rajshahi division, two in Khulna division and three in Mymensingh division.
A total of 153 dengue patients across the country have been discharged from hospitals during the 24 hours and a total of 99,578 dengue patients have been discharged this year.
This year, a total of 1, 00,868 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals while 570 people died of the disease, it added.
