Online application submission for the 47th BCS examinations begins at 10:am today and will continue until 11:59 pm on January 31.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced changes for this examination and reduced application fee from Tk 700 to Tk 200.
Candidates from ethnic groups, disabilities and third-gender individuals will pay only Tk 50.
Additionally, the oral exam marks have been reduced from 200 to 100.
The age limit for applicants has been raised to 32 years from 30 years.
Previously, an announcement on December 9 had set the application dates for December 10 to 31, but due to unavoidable reasons, it was postponed.
According to the new notification, 3,487 candidates will be recruited for cadre posts and 201 for non-cadre posts, totaling 3,688 positions. The applicant's age must be between 21 and 32 years as of November 1, 2024, for eligibility.
