Islami Chhatra Shibir to hold nat’l council Dec 31

Islami Chhatra Shibir, a student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, will hold its national council at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka on Tuesday (December 31).

Sadeque Abdullah, publicity secretary of Shibir, has acknowledged the matter. Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman as the chief guest will attend the event which will begin at 8AM.

The names of the next president and general secretary of Shibir will be announced from the council, he added.

Meanwhile, this is the first time Shibir is going to hold the council publicly after 2010.
