Winter clothes were distributed among the cold-hit people in three districts - Lalmonirhat, Khagrachhari and Rajshahi.
LALMONIRHAT: Blankets were distributed among 1,000 cold-hit destitute families in the district on Sunday.
Buro Bangladesh organized the distribution programme on Saptibari School ground of Aditmari Upazila in the morning.
Lalmonirhat Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mahbubur Rahman was present as the chief guest at the distribution programme.
At that time, Aditmari Acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rawjatun Jannat, Buro Bangladesh Regional Manager Mostain Billah, Saptibari Union Parishad (UP) Acting Chairman Hafizul Islam, Saptibari Bohumukhi High School Headmaster Abu Sayeed Tayez Uddin, and Lalmonirhat, Kaliganj and Tushbhandar branch managers of Buro Bangladesh, among others, were also present there.

RAJSHAHI: Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) distributed blankets among more than 100 cold-hit poor people on Saturday.
RMP Commissioner Mohammad Abu Sufian handed over the blankets to the recipients on the RMP headquarters premises in the morning.
Traffic Department of the RMP organized the programme.
Deputy Commissioner of Boalia Crime Department under RMP Anirban Chakma, Deputy Commissioner of POM Department Bivuti Bhusan Benarjee, and Deputy Sales Manager of Jisca Pharmaceutical Limited Ekramul Haque, among others, were also present at that time.
