Zubayer, Saad followers asked to conduct activities at designated mosques

Followers of two factions of Tablighi Jamaat -- Maulana Zubayer Ahmed and Maulana Muhammad Saad Kandhalvi-- have been asked to conduct their activities at their designated mosques in order to avoid any kind of untoward incident.

The Home Affairs Ministry issued an order in this regard on Monday (December 30). It has asked followers of the two fractions not to get involved in any kind of dispute by being present at the same mosque across the country.

Earlier, the home ministry had ordered the followers of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi to refrain from all kinds of Tabligh Jamaat activities, including staying at the Kakrail Mosque in the capital at night.
