Youth held with firearm in Narayanganj

Police arrested a man along with a foreign firearm from Narayanganj's Sadar upazila on Monday. 

The arrested man is SM Fayaz Hasan Niloy, 31, a resident of Dhaka's Keraniganj. He, now, lives in Jamtala area in the upazila. 

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the police conducted a raid in the upazila and arrested Niloy from a road under North Kashempur area in Fatullah Model Police Station, said Shariful Islam, officer-in-charge of Fatullah Model Police Station. 

He is accused of several cases with Keraniganj Police Station, the police official added.
