Bitter cold grips Panchagarh

Dear  Sir

The harsh weather conditions currently gripping Panchagarh on this last day of the year. Despite a slight increase in temperature from 9.8 degrees Celsius on Monday to 10.9 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, the area remains shrouded in thick fog, and the sun has yet to break through.

The residents of Panchagarh are struggling to cope with the severe cold. Many have resorted to lighting firecrackers in an attempt to stay warm, and vehicles are navigating the foggy streets with headlights on, even during daylight hours. While some people have ventured out for work, the usually bustling streets are noticeably quieter.

I urge the authorities to take necessary measures to support the residents during this period of extreme weather. Providing adequate resources and assistance can help alleviate some of the hardships faced by the community.
