Cold-hit people get winter clothes in 3 districts

Winter clothes were distributed among the cold-hit destitute people in three districts - Munshiganj, Rangamati and Moulvibazar.

MUNSHIGANJ: More than 500 helpless families were given winter clothes in the district on Tuesday.

Panchasar Union Unit of BNP organized the distribution programme in Muktarpur area in the morning.
 
District BNP Joint Convenor and Sadar Upazila BNP President Mohammad Mohiuddin was present as the chief guest while General Secretary (GS) of Panchasar Union BNP Abdul Matin presided over the programme. 

Sadar Upazila BNP GS Saidur Rahman Fakir, among others, was also present during the distribution.

KAPTAI, RANGAMATI: Cold-hit poor people were given winter clothes in Kaptai Upazila of the district on Tuesday.
10 R E Battalion under Rangamati Region of Bangladesh Army organized the distribution programme in Prejuchhara area of Mogban Union. 

Acting Deputy Commander of 10 R E Battalion Major Muntasim A-Sobhani Shikder distributed these winter clothes among the helpless people under the supervision of the battalion's Commander Lt Col Muhammad Sohel, PSC.

KAMALGANJ, MOULVIBAZAR: Blankets were distributed among more than 150 cold-hit destitute people in Kamalganj Upazila of the district on Monday.

Kamalganj Press Club organized the distribution programme at its auditorium in the afternoon.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Joynal Abedin was present as the chief guest while Convenor of Kamalganj Press Club MA Wahid Rulu presided over the programme.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) DM Sadiq Al Shafin, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Plaban Pal and Journalist Ankar Ali, among others, were also present there.

Former vice-president of Kamalganj Press Club Sabbir Elahi moderated the programme while its Member Secretary Ahmeduzzaman Alam delivered the welcome speech.
